After Multiple Tries My Ping is Still Terrible on All devices?
So about three weeks ago, my ping on League of Legends became terrible. Normally around 90, it's now around 110 and spikes to 250 and up every few seconds. I can't play. Now on Vainglory as well, a MOBA for iOS I play on my iPhone 5s, my ping spikes. I redownloaded World of Tanks for my iPhone, and I got horrible ping spikes still. I tried everything to fix it, and nothing. I called the U-Verse support line multiple times, and every time they say there are no connection issues and our speed is more than what we're paying for. I switched channels on the modem multiple times and still no fix. Last week I had them change the modem and still it isn't fixed. I'm becoming very annoyed since I've spent upwards of 100 dollars on League, and I can't even play without being handed a ban for disconnecting.
Any help or fixes are greatly appreciated
Sounds like you are playing over wireless. Tough luck, as it were, you are subject to the quirks of wireless. Things like local interference, other people stealing your Wi-Fi, etc. Can all affect your throughput (ping time and traffic).
Always, always check your ping times while wired only. If that is good and Wi-Fi is poor, it is your Wi-Fi environment, which you have little control over. You can try to change the channel in the router (1,6 or 11 for 2.4Ghz band).
If wired is also poor, then it is your ISP or modem/router that is the issue. Start with the ISP, see if there are problems with your line…
- Why is my Facebook account logged onto multiple devices? I was just randomly checking my account settings and was looking at devices that are logged onto my Facebook and it shows multiple devices, all from iphone 7plus which is what I have. This might be a stupid question, but wouldn't it just say iphone 7plus once if my phone is the only one logged onto Facebook? On my account settings, it shows 5 other iPhone 7 plus. Does this mean someone else is using my Facebook? I'm just really confused.
- What's the best resolution for an app to support multiple devices? I'm developing my first cross-platform game. I need a base resolution and aspect ratio in which to develop my game. I know how to scale it to work on most devices, but need a sensible base resolution. I could do anything from the 320x480 old iPhone display to 1080x1920, but I want my first release to be on Android and I want most devices to be able to play it.
- Sharing iTunes Between Multiple Devices? So I've had an iPod for the last several years and now my parents and I are getting our first batch of iPhones. All of my music in my library has been kept on one computer and the computer is getting old. I was wondering if we all 3 make new iTunes accounts, can we all 3 still get certain songs off of the main computer? All commments are welcomed!
- My iPhone 6s takes multiple tries to start charging, has this ever happened to anyone and how do you fix it? I have a 6s and it will always take a lot of tries of plugging my charger in to work. I've tried using a new charger, cable, and outlet. I've also cleaned my charging port but it still takes forever. Any suggestions of what to do?
