Am i a bad person for making fun of poor people?

I laugh at those who can't afford an iphone. I'm so glad my parents provided me with such good food and clothing. I can eat whenever i want.

You should be careful, life has a funny way of turning rich people poor and poor people rich. The people you are laughing at today could very well be laughing at you tomorrow.

Yes. One day you might be poor and need help. Believe me the poor are more giving then the rich.

The way i look at is you have to put yourself in their shoes…

How would YOU feel if you had very little to live on, you'd love to have all these wonderful gadgets but can't afford it. Yet, there was this person who always makes fun of you behind your back (even though know they're doing it) of you being so poor, making it very obvious of the difference in your social statuses? What would that make you think about them?

Answer that, and you may have your answer…

It's great having parents who can afford to give you all these things, but the way i look at it is just don't take it for granted, because you don't know if it'll always be like that and just count yourself lucky; there are so many out there that don't have those things…

But for the Grace of God, there go YOU. Its is not your money you are so proud of. Your parents can kick you out of THEIR house any time they want, then you will be POOR AND HOMELESS, what then?

That is not the right thing to do. You should know what's wrong and right. We all make mistakes. Just because you are doing something wrong doesn't mean your a bad person. If you keep on making fun and don't stop, then you are a bad person. It's good that your being thankful, but don't give yourself all the credit. Just think, if you were poor, would you want people making fun of you? It's up to you what choices you make. If you keep on being like this maybe, you will become poor. If you stop, you will feel great about yourself and others. Instead of making fun of them, you could help. It's your decision what kind of person you want to become.

Any time I see a kid who has alot because their parents pay for it, I wonder what they are going to do when they're on their own and have to pay for things themselves, especially if they don't have as good of a job as daddy.

It is very hard to barely pay your bills and then not have much left for food. I've been there. You see people around you buying things and eating out and you feel totally left out of everything. But I have also seen people with plenty have things happen that they could no way anticipate and they are on the other end of it. Nowadays things can change overnight, daddy can lose his job and you lose your nice house.
