Am I old enough to get a contract in my name?
I'm 17 and I want be 18 til Feb 2014. I really want an Iphone bad and I would use someone name like a relative but all their credit is messed up. Is it possible for me to get a contract in my name using my ssn? Can I lie about my age?
Can you get a contract? I doubt it. And you can lie about your age, just like you can do a lot of things, it's just a matter of whether or not you will be caught doing them. You would most likely have to show an ID to get the contract, so your age would be given up then.
Your SSN record will have your DOB which will show your age, so there's no point in lying. If you want contract without the age limit, StraightTalk is the answer but it's prepaid, Virgin is also there. Postpaid contract can only be had if you're 18.
Just wait until your 18. You really can't lie about your age, they will likely ask you for an I. D.

- Text message name shows last name instead of first on iPhone 5S? I have changed the contacts to be first, last for mail, contacts, calendars but it's still only showing the person's last name in the text message. How do I change it to show the full name or the first name?
- Should I get iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S? No contract or with contract? I don't know what exactly is so much better with the 5 compared to 4S? I'm thinking to get it with no contract because I'll be in Europe over the summer so I'll need another contract over there for a few months so that likely wouldnt work if I got a 2 year contract here in the US is the 5 much more expensive than the 4s? and does the price vary a lot if I buy with/without contract?
- Is a 6 year old old enough to have her own phone? I have a bunch of old iPhones (6,7,8) saved up and I'm thinking of putting her into the family plan. What do you think of a 6 year old having a smartphone?
