Am i using up my data when i'm connected to the Wi-Fi at my house?
So basically i just got an iphone(iphone 4) last night and i'm worried about going over the data usage. I went to setting>general>network and then turned off cellular data. I think i have about 2 things of data to use, i'm not sure if its like gigabytes or what not but yeah. I just wanted to know if i'm using up my data if i'm connected to my Wi-Fi and the cellular data switch is turned off… Cause i use the internet a lot (tumblr, instagram, twitter, facebook, youtube, music etc.) i just want to make sure i'm not using my data if i'm connected to the Wi-Fi at my house. So thanks!
You won't use your data usage if you are using your Wi-Fi.
Wi-Fi and phone network data is different
- Will I be charged by using my 3G data even if I'm not connected to Wi-Fi? So currently I have no Internet but I do have an iPhone 4S 16GB and my plan is Sprint's unlimited everything plan so I'm able to use the Internet still on my phone. But does anybody know if it'll charge me extra even if I have unlimited data since I'm not connected to Wi-Fi because usually I use my phone's Internet all the time but it's usually connected to Wi-Fi. Does anybody know if I may get charged?

Hi, The Problem is - i set up a wireless network today for my Iphone 5 and my blackberry, from my main desktop at home, and all went well and Both are connected to it, as well as my laptop. But now whenever i try using the internet on these devices ( iphone etc ) it does not work, although the main desktops internet is working… Can anyone help me? I'm using WINDOWS 7.
- Why won't the White House security experts set President Trump up with iPhones using the Signal app? In this NY Times article they say the Presidents iPhone calls to his friends are not secure and the Chinese and maybe the Russians are monitoring them. Why don't the security experts install the Signal app on the President's phone, and tell his friends how to install it on their phones and then ask them to call using Signal?
- My iphone says i'm connected to Wi-Fi but when i try to run something it says i'm not connected? My phone shows signal, it has a check mark by the device but when i try to open an app it says can't find a connection.
