Any good apps to raise a family for iPhone?

I'm looking for an app other than sims to allow you to raise a family

Try Virtual Families 2. It's not as complex as The Sims by any means, but it's free and cute. It's basically a cutaway house and yard where you play with what the game calls Little People. You raise kids (you can even adopt, and sometimes a random orphan will show up on your doorstep) up to 6 and solve little puzzles around the house, repair and renovate the house, and work from home. When one or both parents die, you start over with one child of your choice, who is now an adult, and start the next generation. There's no "ending" as it is a purely sandbox game. The Little People continue to "live" and earn money while you're not playing the game.

Virtual Families 2 is one of the better choices out there. I haven't found many that I like. Though I believe the Virtual Villagers series may be available for iPhone now. You raise kids and survive on a tropical island.
