Apple/iTunes help! Read additional details?
Hi, I'm trying to add a ringtone to my iPhone 4. While I was doing this process I was at the end and I got this message The iPhone "Mahmood Iphone 3g" is synced with another iTunes on "localhost". Do you want to erase this iPhone and sync with this iTunes library. Also it says An iPhone can be synced with only one iTunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iPhone with the contents of this iTunes library.
Will this erase my contacts, text messages, photos, videos, apps etc. Please explain in a easy way, Not difficult!
This won't erase your contacts or texts or photos. Music and apps in the iTunes library on your local machine will replace the iTunes library you have on the phone currently. This is also reversible. I wouldn't sync to someone else's iTunes tho, unless they okay it and you like their music better than your own…

The phone still has her sim card though and i have t mobile prepaid and want to switch my service to the iphone can i do that? Do i have to unlock it?

So when i open my itunes and i go to my iphone, apps, get the ringtone from one of my apps, put it on my desktop, double click it, go to my tones, and its there. When i try to sync the ringtone it will say at the top "backing up iphone" then it will load and say "syncing" then at one point it stops responding. Please help me. If there's a free app to make a custom ringtone without itunes please tell me.
