Are there any GOOD radio apps for iPhone 5s?
When I had a iPod nano that was the touchscreen small one, you could just press the radio app and you could use the tuner to go through all the radio stations (and I mean All locally). With my iPhone 5s, I've downloaded atleast 4 radio apps that have select non local radio stations. Are there any good apps that you can just select the local radio stations from? Maybe an official app?
I have tried a lot of radio apps as well. Here are some that I've found.
1. Tunein Radio (Free and Paid): Tunein used to support literally every local radio station when it first came out a few years ago until CBS got jealous and pulled support of their radios. Now Tunein only has about half the stations it used to not to mention there are ads in the paid version now. I would try the free version first before buying. This app is going downhill pretty fast.
2. IHeartRadio: iHeart is decent because it has access to some of the restricted CBS stations mentioned above but the UI is but ugly with ads in my opinion at least.
3. Spotify, iTunes Radio, Pandora: these don't support local radio stations but rather custom playlists.
- Is there any app to record audio stuff while you listen to iHeart Radio? Can someone please answer this with no mean comments. Okay so here's the problem this friday, Johnny's House radio morning show will be starting a new segment called: football fridays starting with Deltona High School and my problem is that I'm gonna be in school. That day, I have no way to record it on my iphone well… I was gonna use Tapin Radio to record it but is there an app to record it from your iphone thanks?
- How to improve the FM radio reception on my iHome radio? I have an iHome docking station. It's an alarm clock / radio / iPod or iPhone dock. I would love to improve the FM radio reception on it, but it seems everyone recommends an external antenna. I just think it's a little unnessasary for me to purchase one just for my alarm clock radio in my bedroom. Any other suggestions? Thanks! (ps, the antenna on it isn't your typical metal one. It is more of a long, flexible wire)
- Does any one have any good learn a language apps/audio tapes for Iphone? I'm looking to learn Portuguese whilst i'm on the train to work/home etc but would like to use my iphone to do this. Does anybody know any good apps/audio tapes on the Apple Store to use?
- Can I listen to FM radio with a FM radio transmitter device? They sell attachable FM radio transmitters on eBay for IPhone etc. Does that mean that wherever I go, provided there's reception etc, I can listen to FM RADIO?
