Does any one have any good learn a language apps/audio tapes for Iphone?
I'm looking to learn Portuguese whilst i'm on the train to work/home etc but would like to use my iphone to do this. Does anybody know any good apps/audio tapes on the Apple Store to use?

I recommend to follow the golden rule of learning ANY language.
If you want to learn Portuguese, at home.
1. Listen - find movies, music, shows and people talking in Portuguese.
2. Speak - If you know their pronunciation. Good! Begin to speak. A LOT even if you're wrong.
3. Write - If you know the writing system, begin writing a lot.
4. Read - If you know how to read. Read a lot…
You will reach fluency within a year, if you try hard.
If you want to learn Portuguese, while on the go.
1. Listen - Find any audio, whether music or movies and put them on your choice of mp3 players.

- Would playing The Sims in another language be a good way to learn that language? I play The Sims a lot anyway. There's a lot of volcabulary like household objects, emotions, everyday tasks etc This wouldn't be my only way of learning btw. I also have a learning French iphone app and a friend who is fluent.

At first I wanted to learn to make Iphone apps, but I will have to go and buy me a mac, So I figured should I make Android apps since I already have a windows computer? And I'm learning java I know I could learn it on mac but I know my way around windows better. My question is what is better to learn to make Iphone apps or Android and why, witch makes the most money.
