AT&T GoPhone SIM for iPhone 4S? Would be appreciated?

I just ordered an AT&T GoPhone SIM card from Walmart.com. It will arrive in a few days. I plan on using my iPhone 4S as a go phone. I already know how to cut it when sissors. But I heard that once you activate the SIM, there are many "Hoops" to jump through to get the 3G Data working. What do these hoops mean? How do I get the 3G Data working?

Take to a radioshack ask if they can activate or to att… If done right through att system should work fine

I think the 3G/4G can be activated by creating the custom APN settings. Here is the link on how to do it.

  • Will my ATT gophone sim card work in a old iphone 3gs? If i buy an unlocked ATT iphone 3gs off of ebay can i put my att sim card in the iphone and make calls and such
