At&t Iphone with Verizon Plan?
Okay so I have verizon but my friend is giving away her old iphone, and she has at&t. Is there anyway that the Iphone could work for me because I have verizon?
I'm not an expert on the matter, but AT&T requires SIM cards for their phones including the iPhone, however Verizon doesn't require one nor need one. I wouldn't count on them working across different networks. You may need to acquire a Verizon iPhone.
- Will the sprint iPhone Forever plan or a similar plan be available later this year? I don't have enough money right now and it expires soon, but I'm asking because it's a great deal and I don't want to miss out on it. Obviously you can't know for sure, but has anyone paid attention to previous years, and/or can you make an educated guess?
- Will I be able to unlock my iPhone with a home phone plan instead of a wireless plan? I don't have a wireless plan with AT&T but I have a home phone plan does that count towards unlocking requirements? And also can I use a mildly cracked screen as a replacement screen on my iPhone?
- Is the Verizon edge plan a good plan for me? I have the iPhone 4 and really want to upgrade to the 5c or 5s --not sure yet. Anyway, I also would want to upgrade to the 6 when it comes out. Should I get the edge plan so I'll be able to upgrade it or should I wait all the way until the 6 comes out?
- Is it cheaper to get a new iPhone on a plan or buy it unlocked and add a cheap plan? I can either buy the phone for $250 and pay a monthly $80 plan with data for 2 years or purchase the unlocked phone $800 and pay $30 - $50 a month - I might not get data but it wouldn't be a big deal to me, I'm just trying to find a deal thats not ridiculously expensive cause I can't really afford too too much right now. Which would be better?
