AT&T iphone4S work for verizon?
I have verizon but i need a new iphone- my friend has a 4S he'd sell to me- but it's AT&T---
would it work on verizon?
No, because AT&T and Verizon use two very different cell phone technologies: GSM and CDMA, and they are in no way compatible. Verizon is a CDMA company, so you need a CDMA iPhone, either one that was on Verizon or Sprint.
- Will out of contract Verizon iPhone4s work with foreign sim? I'm traveling to England for about two months and I would like to take a smartphone. However I have AT&T iPhone 4s and it is not out of contract therefore I can't get it unlocked and put in a SIM card from the UK. My friend has offered me her old iPhone 4s and she is with Verizon. My boss gave me the droid and its an older one, It has about a 3in screen with a keyboard but it is a smart phone. I'm on unlimited minutes and texts and 6g of data. My phone is called a Droid Pro
