Aux port on the back of a clarion dxz865mp not working?

Ok.well I bought a new truck and my friend told me that I can hook my aux cord up through the back of the radio.well I took the radio out and plugged the aux cord into the black part were it can be hooked up through, and I played music on my iphone, and nothing came out of the speakers In my truck.

I have 2 amps and 2 10s in my truck.one amp runs to the door speakers and one amp runs to the 10's(if that matters at all)

I plugged my aux cord up in my brothers truck, and it worked in there, so I no its not the cord.

is there something I have to do differently to get it to work on my radio? I would really like to listen to my music on my phone.

I may just be a dummy, or it may be something else. But can someone please help?

You're Deck is not able to play anything off of you're Iphone! Shown below are both install & owners manual and neither shows the ability to be able to do such!

  • Why port forwarding on port 80? I have a foscam home security camera and it needs port forwarding on port 80 if I want to use my iphone to view it from outside. Surely enough, it works as soon as I open that port. But isn't port 80 open by default? Else how could I view http websites in the first place. I don't get it. It's already open so why open it again?
  • Why is my aux cable not working? 2002 mitsubishi eclipse with Kenwood KDC-MP245. When i play a CD all speakers work fine and it sounds great… BUT. When i plug in my aux cable for my iphone it only plays through one left side speaker. And i tried it on other systems and it plays fine… What's going on?
  • Why does my 2010 car not have an aux port? I have a 2010 Chevrolet Colorado truck. It doesn't have an auxiliary port to plug my iPhone into, and it frustrates me because I hate having to make CDs.
  • My car doesn't have a cd/tape player or aux port? What can I do? All it has is radio and I really want to be able to play CDs/tapes/my iPhone it does have a cig lighter
