Auxiliary import on mazda 3?
I just bought a 2008 mazda 3. I have found the aux port in the center console but after reading some posts I'm only seeing 'iphone, ipod' posts and questions about it.
My question is; can you only hook up an apple device to the aux port or is it universal? I have an LG g4 phone. I don't own any apple products besides a broken iphone 5.
Do i need to buy an ipod or a converter cable of some sort? I've never owned a vehicle that had an aux so excuse me if i sound ignorant.
Read your owner's manual. I'm doubtful that port is "apple only". Get a stereo patch cord ( aux cord) and connect your g4 to it from the headphone output and rock.
Maybe plug something in and try it?
Well, you can of course use anything that has a 3.5mm jack, which is what an aux cord uses and most phones have one on there. All you need is a cord and plug it up
- What is the easiest way to listen to my iPhone in my Mazda 6 2008? I just bought this car & was so disappointed with no port for the aux cord. I know you can buy certain cords and wires, but you have to take apart the car, something I can't do. So what is the easiest, cheapest way I can listen to music with my iPhone 5?
- What does the Media button do on a Mazda 3 2007? Hi. I recently bought a 2 litre Diesel Mazda 3 sport 2007 model. I don't rewlly know alot about cars however, just how to drive them lol. There's a square button which says 'Media' next to the radio. What does it do? Also, is it possible to link my iphone to the speakers so i can play music from my phone?
- Problems with auxiliary port in car? I wan play AM and FM radio stations and CD's in my '05 beetle and hear it through all 4 speakers but when I plug in anything in the auxiliary port it plays through the drivers door speaker and through the rear passenger speakers but not the front passenger speaker. I checked to see if the wire just wasn't in all the way on the speaker and the iphone and they were. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?
- Mazda CX9 iTunes automatically starts? If I'm on the phone using my bluetooth in my 2014 Mazda CX 9, the music will automatically start playing from my itunes playlist while I'm still talking to someone. The caller on the phone can't hear it, but it is very annoying to me because it drowns out the conversation. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a fix for this? I have an iPhone 5 and the USB chord is connected as well as bluetooth being enabled.
