Bass overpowering songs when using aux cord in car?

When I plug in the aux cord and play music from my phone the music plays fine its just that the bass makes it to where you can't even hear the song? When I play fm radio the speakers do not do that. And I don't think its my phone because I plugged in both of my friends iphones and the same thing happened. Could it be from the brand of aux cord i got or what? Thanks.

Added (1). And Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?

Sounds like you may have an equalizer or volume issue. Your phone should have an option to pull up an equalizer, lets you optimize the sound like, trebel and bass. Check this also on your stereo head. Make sure your bass boost isn't up high. The signal coming from a CD or MP3 format will be stronger than one via radio waves.

  • Why can't i find the right aux cord adapter? I'm looking for a female aux to male usb. I have a new computer that has no female aux input. It only has usb and my speakers have a male end aux, one i can plug into my iphone… Is there anyway i can find one? Or does one even exists?
  • Speakers sound blown out when I play my music on the Aux cord? So starting today I put my Aux cord into my iPhone 6 to connect to my Pontiac Torrent to play music, and the audio was absolute garbage! It sounded like my speakers were blown out, which scared me. But I went to my radio to see if it did the same and it was fine! I thought it was just the aux cord breaking, but I bought a new one after work and it didn't help at all. What is wrong with my auxiliary port?
  • My car doesn't have an oxe cord or cassatte? Is there another way to listen to music? I'm trying to attach my Iphone to my car to listen to music it has neither an oxe cord or a cassatte in it just a CD player. I don't want to have to pay to get a completely new radio in my car with a oxe cord port. Is there another way? Is the item in the link legit? http://www.ebay.com/...1742537532
  • Is there an AUX cord for the 2007 Infiniti G35? I have a 2007 Infiniti G35 and it has an AUX port, but its a red, white and yellow aux port. I was wondering if they made an AUX core with one end PLUGGING IN (the side that plugs into. NOT the one gets plugged into) the to the red, white, and yellow part and the other end plugging into my iPhone to listen to music?
