Best to buy iphone from apple shop or mobile phone shop?

Hi

I'm looking to buy the iPhone 5 on contract in the next few weeks and was wondering whether people think its best to buy it from the apple shop or from a mobile phone shop? I went into the apple shop today and they have a variety of price plans for different providers but would you get a better deal within a providers shop?

I found better deals in the carrier store. (AT&T.) On a contract, you get a reduced price, but pay the tax for the full price. It is still a good deal… The Apple store seemed to have higher prices…

If you want an unlocked factory phone - so you can put any sim in it - then choose it from Apple because they are more reliable than phone shops. You can't trust some these days but if you wanted a contract it wouldn't be better because you can't put any sim in it e.g you can't put a vodafone sim in t-mobile phone. £36 a month deals are for 2 years - 24 months - so you end up all together paying about £800 so that is a rip off because at Apple.com it is £529 so I hope this helps!

Hi. I would say buy the phone from a service provider instead. Like Rich said… You can find better deals. Which may equal it being cheaper
