Best way to burn 9GB's of video files to a 4.7GB single layer recordable DVD?
I need to burn about 9gb of video files into a DVD for a friend. I'm doing it on a regular 4.7gb DVD. What is the best way to accomplish this? I have Handbrake, but I'm wondering if I should or could use the preset formats for iPhone, iPad, etc. She is watching them on a portable DVD player, so having them at full resolution probably isn't necessary. What free or trialware software could I use.
The 'InfraRecorder' and 'ImgBurn' are two free DVD burner programs. You can use them to burn your video to a DVD disc.
You can't fit 9gb of data onto a 4.7gb disc. You would either need to burn it as data files to a dual layer disc or split the files onto 2 standard discs. If you need the files to be in dvd format then you would need at least 2 dual layer dvds.
If your friend will watch the DVD on a portable DVD player, you'd better use a right program to compress and convert your 9GB video files to standard video dvd format then burn to a 4.7GB single layer recordable DVD, because only standard video DVD can be played fine on any portable DVD player, and you can use RZ DVD Creator to help you, easy to run this program, insert a single layer 4.7GB recordable DVD into your dvd burner drive, directly add your 9GB video files into the program, if you view a message tip "Source DVD size is larger than CD/DVD disc capacity", simply press "Yes", then press "START" button, the software will auto compress all video files and fit/burn on to the inserted one 4.7GB DVD as a standard video DVD, and your friend can watch this DVD on her portable DVD player. You could search and download RZ DVD Creator on google, hope it could help you.
- What's the best iPhone 5 video-to-DVD converter to use on a PC? I'm trying to convert a friend's iPhone 5 videos to a DVD for her, I just don't know the best one to get. Doesn't matter if we have to pay, I just want something that will work & output a good finished quality. Any suggestions?
- What is the easiest, fastest way to get AVCHD video onto a standard DVD? Hi and thanks for taking the time to answer my question. I'm about to buy a Sony Cybershot digital camera (HX30) that takes video as AVCHD. Can you recommend idiot proof software that can take the videos off of the camera and burn them to a DVD? I don't care if the picture quality will be SD. I just want it on a DVD +/- R. Also if the software can also convert iPhone videos to DVD as well, that would be great.
- What are some good dual layer IPhone 5s cases WITH NO BUILT IN SCREEN PROTECTOR? I have an Iphone 5s with a professionally installed Zagg Invisishield. I'm looking for a good protective dual-layer case (i.e. Rubber layer and plastic layer) but I don't want a case with a built in screen protector like Otter Box and Lifeproof cases have. I know I could just take the built in protectors off but I would like to stay away from that. Any suggestions?
- My iPhone says that 7gb of memory are taken up by photos? I only have 161 photos and 29 videos (all average 3 minutes long) in my camera roll. I don't understand how it's taking up that much space.
