Best wireless router for 50 mbps?

I've been looking at some routers to better my wireless connectivity. Been looking at one under $100 on amazon. Haven't really narrowed down to any.

Devices connected:

1 ipad

2 iphones

1 laptop

Xbox

What do you guys recommend?

Linksys and asus products look pretty promising. Could use some input!

Actually using Amazon you don't need to ask here. All you are going to get is peoples opinions that may or may not be right. While looking at Amazon look at the users reviews and pick on that has a lot of good reviews. If something has a high rating but only a few reviews stay away from that one.

I would most certainly recommend the asus nt-13u rev b1. Even though this router may seem outdated because the router industry is rapidly growing. This router is a beast without a doubt. Obviously you would need to put custom firmware on it (Manufacturers warranty is voided) but once on dd-wrt so many features are available to the user and the speed is very accurate to what your modem is getting.

  • Would I need a fast mbps rate to host audio streaming? My ambition is to create an iPhone app, in which users will be able to listen to streamed music (like Pandora, or Spotify). My concern is if I'll need a quick net speed to accomplish this fluidly (current is 10mbps down, 3mbps up), as I want as few listeners as possible to have to face buffering issues. I'll be using a PC (Lenovo Z40, if specifics matter) as the dedicated server to host the music being streamed. Could anyone assist?
  • Wireless router experiencing problems when an Apple device connects via wireless? We have a home router (CD-R King brand), everything runs smoothly until someone with an apple device connects to the network. I tried pinging google continuously, but when an ipad or iphone connects. The network goes down. i've heard this problem from a friend.what's causing this problem?
  • Why isn't my belkin wireless router working? I just bought a belkin wireless router (type wpa/wpa2) and I can't seem to get it to work. I activated it on my ipod as well as my iphone and laptop, but nothing is working. When I set it up, the light that said "modem" under it was red even though I connected it to the modem already.
  • What's the difference between a cheap router and a good router? Just wanted to know the difference between a cheap router and an expensive router, I know that is a very broad question, I'm just a bit confused on how a router works. Does it increase my Internet speed on multiple devices? I get 50Mb per second, Well at least that's what I pay for. I have a PS3 two iPhones and a tablet, as well as a desktop PC that is wireless. Can anyone recommend an excellent router under $150
