Bladder issue for years and it's getting worse?

So let me explain my situation.

It's been a depressing journey for me for a really long time. I'm 26, and I just feel like my condition gets worse. Ever since I was little I have to use the restroom every 30-45 minutes. This is to urinate. But as I got older, I now have to "poop" almost 5x a day DEPENDING on the situation (anxiety?).

I can't hold my poop WHATSOEVER. I've had some silly accidents in the past. For instance, if I'm in traffic and I can't exit, then I panic so hard to a point where I can't hold my poop.
I hate going to the movies and I have to sit in the corner because I have to get up all the time. I can't even go to live performances or shows because I know that I can't wait that long before I use the restroom. I can't wait in line for a release of anything such as a new iphone, black friday, etc.

I can't drive far. I can't go up the mountains and enjoy the scenery. I can't go on dates with my girlfriend that has no restroom nearby such having a picnic on top of a hill (no bathroom). I can't do anything. And I just want to cry while I'm typing this. It's been so frustrating.

I really don't know what to do. I've gone to the doctor and he gave me Prozac, that didn't do anything. I've gone to a chiropractor and that hasn't helped much either.

I'm 26 and I just feel like I shouldn't be going through this at all. Any suggestions? What should I do?

Just to recap: I pee every 45 minutes, when I'm asleep I wake up in the middle of the night to pee, and I poop A LOT. Especially when I'm in unfamiliar territories (anxiety?).

It sounds like you do suffer from an anxiety disorder and it is important to remember that Irritable Bowl Disorder (IBS) is a common occurrence in anxiety patients. So, your frequent need to have a bowl movement might be caused by IBS which is made worse by your anxiety. You should see a gastroenterologist to get checked. The frequent need to urinate sounds like something that a Urologist would be able to assist you with. There are medications that can help you to better empty your bladder so that you do not need to urinate as frequently. Secondly, you should talk with your doctor about different medication options. There are fast acting anxiety pills like Ativan or Klonopin that can help to stop a panic attack in it's tracks. The medications do have side effects and can become addicting so you need to weigh your options but if you are having bouts of panic having one of these medications at your disposal could prove very helpful.

The good news is that the conditions you have prefaced are very treatable. However, you have to be willing to see the right specialists and take an active interest in your care/medication. I think you will be able to get it sorted out.

Anxiety yes… Part of it. But you may want to start on a probiotic daily. And stay on it! I'd also see about taking small amounts of Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar for the urination (google Braggs and I think there are testimonies for urinary issues) Also health food stores for kidney/bladder supplements to help as well. You could have a yeast/Candida problem… Its an abundance of unwanted bacteria… Can exist almost anywhere in the body and stress/anxiety can multiply it. Stay away from sugar as much as possible. Also try taking some fiber. In pill form (ask at health food store) or a metamucil type drink… To help bulk up your stools. Hate to say wear those disposable undies, but what the heck, for emergencies who cares? Talking to someone to help calm your anxiety and/or starting some meditation would be great for calming in general… Lots of science to back this up now a day. If you don't think the prozac is helping ask about getting off of it… It can cause more yeast in the body… Just saying. But if you feel some relief then up to you of course.

I used to have irritable bowel and knew where every bathroom was in my area lol… So I know it's no fun. But it can get better! Anxiety can obviously heighten the episodes! Natural health offers more options in my opinion… So start investigating Good luck.
