Brand new Asus laptop won't work with hotspot?
So I just bought a brand new Asus laptop and I've been trying to connect it my hotspot on my iPhone 5s (IIm with 3) and the laptop successor contacts to the hotspot but the browsers won't work and I can't get internet. Someone please help!
Sorry I have no idea why the spelling is awful, the laptop successfully connects to the hotspot but won't let me access the Internet or use the browsers
Sounds more of an issue with your hotspot than your laptop.
Call your service provider… Test with another device too.
I'd agree with AJ, try restarting the hotspot/router AND the mobile device, and check if the hotspot/AP has DHCP enabled. Might have happened to you that you simply forgot that you restricted access to single devices / MAC numbers- Happened to me once, can happen to anybody.
- Why won't my brand new iPhone 5C won't connect to my home Wi-Fi? I just recently bought an iPhone 5C for my mom, along with an HTC One. The 4G LTE seems to work fine on both of them, but my iPhone can't seem to connect to my home internet (the HTC connected perfectly fine). I'm 100% sure I'm inputting the correct password, and it always comes up with the same error: "Unable to join the network '[my Wi-Fi name]'" I've tried turning the phone and router off and on, but it doesn't seem to be doing the trick…
- Why won't my brand new charger work on my IPhone? I have an iPhone 4S, I've had it since December 2012. My old charger has broken and I recently got a new one but it won't work in my computer or in the wall. I've cleaned out the charging port from 90% of the dust. I have a fake iPhone charger which I got off eBay, that broke last night but before it broke it would work fine with charging my phone so I don't see why it won't charge now?
- Asus laptop stopped connecting to the wireless router? We know it is not the router because the HP Notebook works and our iPhones work. When Windows runs a detection for errors it reports none. We have unplugged everything a few times, have hit FN F2 nothing. The only message we get is to call a friend who might know how to fix it!
- Put music onto my Asus laptop? I have a desktop computer with over 500 songs on iTunes and my asus laptop (which I haven't been on 3 years,) only has a little over 100 songs on iTunes. I need to put all my songs from my computer to my laptop, and the laptop doesn't have a disk holder. And I don't have an iTouch (iphone/ipod) anymore.
