Brand new Iphone 4s won't charge?

I got 2 brands new iPhone 4s's. After 4 days, mine stopped charging. About a week and a half later, my husbands did the same thing. Sprint said I have to take them back to the store I got them, but I can't because that is almost 2 hours away. So, does anyone know if they can be fixed? If they are left on the charger all night, they charge about 1/4 of the way and that's it.

Your charger may be shorting the batteries out, especially since it happened on each unit. Something like that is extremely rare, and sounds like something else would be the culprit. Apple has a replacement program where they will ship you a temporary phone so you can send the iPhone in for repair/replacement. Call 1-800-MY-APPLE for their customer support and see what they're able to do since you can't get into the store.

Did you turn the phones off and back on again?

Take it to the store even if it takes 2 hours. You're under warranty and you should get a replacement of the phone.
