Buyer claims he paid for item in ebay but haven't received payment?

Ok so I just sold my item the buyer claims that he paid for it but I haven't recevied any payment on paypal. So what can I do.
Also I just check his feedback and he has done this before with other people. So what can I. Can I just delete the item and forget about since it's only 10$ Or do I have to go through some process with ebay. I also told him I haven't recevied a payment and he responed with this.

I paid for it! Since yoûre new on eBay the money Will be available once i leave feedback

I know nothing about getting your money only after a person has left feedback. Thats a flat out lie. Don't send the item and tell him that you will claim a no payment buyer if he doesn't pay in the next few days. If he paid, you will get an email notifying you of payment and it will show up in your paypal account.

Check with paypal they hold money in escrow for new sellers until the buyer gives positive feedback, usually for $100 and up, you must be very new

When someone purchases that money is immediately deposited in your Paypal account I would contact eBay at 1-866-540-3229

Check your PayPal account. If the money is pending it will say so. As a new seller your money is held until tracking shows delivered and the buyer leaves feedback or several days thereafter.

First you should have gotten an email from PayPal stating you've been paid. It should also either be marked as paid in your eBay account or show as pending. If none of this has happened you need to contact PayPal directly though their phone help.

If no payment has been made then you file an unpaid item dispute. This will either force the buyer to pay or they will get a strike against them and you will get your final value fee returned from the sale.
