Sold item on ebay buyer didn't recive?

OK so I sold an iPhone on eBay for 175 I shipped it 2 days after receiving payment 2 weeks later the buyer tells me he hasent received it and he is asking me what can I do so what should I do I don't want to give him a refund cuase then he gets 175 and all I get is a missing iPhone so what should I do?

You should contact your post office and see if it has gotton lost in the mail. Also i've had this happen to me, they say they don't get it, but they do and they ask for a refund and they get $175 and a iphone so i say stay in contact with him and see if he get the phone later and contact the post office. Keep a sharp eye out it may be a scam

I'm a seller on ebay and i go through this all the time. First you should have gotten insurance on the phone from whoever delivered it. Secondly and unfortunetly yes you must give him a full refund or ebay will take it directly out of your account and they will ban you from ebay.see if you hada tracking number on it? Every time it happens to me i always think someone is trying to pull a fast one on me but ebay will make your customer happy by ultimately refunding him his money. Theyall it " buyer protection" what a crock believe me. Srry for your loss, next time get insurance if you can't afford to replace it. It would have costed you like ten or twelve bucks.

Get the tracking number, go online and see if the thing was signed. I don't know what country you live in but in canada, you can track packages online and they even show that the delivery has a signature once its delivered.
