Buyer scammed on ebay, paypal refunded money won't

Okay… This was around chrismas 2012… I sold an iphone for my friend on ebay… We shipped out the iphone… Without tracking ( tracking costed additional 80$, and required twice the ammount of time and buyer didn't pay extra for tracking)

The buyer opened a dispute on paypal because it was almost a month and he did not receive the phone but we send pics of proof that we sent… The dispute was closed in his favour feb 25, 2012… HOWEVER the phone came in the next day, on the 26th…

He sent me a msg from ebay saying he got it, sent me a pic, and many other emails saying he got it…

when I called paypal explaining that he got the phone and he sent me an ebay msg that shows proof of him recieving it, they exlude that and say they can't help me even tho I gave them evidence, they said that the buyer has to alert paypal he got it…

now what. The buyer did not even email them… I was doing my best on my end… I have proof of the guy getting the iphone… HIS WORDs…

how can I get paypal to refund me the money?

You have to forward the emails to them, contact ebay and request the case opened based on the emails they have in the system. By the way learn to follow directions you are required to send with tracking it costs a whopping 80 cents not 80 dollars. It would have saved you a lot of aggravations and you would have followed the rules

If they refunded his money, why doesn't he just PAY YOU AGAIN.
