Buying an iphone 4s outright?
I'm saving up for an iPhone 4s, but i don't really want to go on a contract. If i bought one outright could i put it on pre-paid for any phone company? I'd rather pre-paid over a plan so I'm not locked into a contract and i can manage my usage. Which would be best; Telstra, Optus, Vodafone etc. Would i have to buy one from the Apple Store or can i buy one from anywhere that sells them?
Also, how much would i be looking at to buy one outright in Australia?
Contracts aren't a bad deal, most don't change phone companies anyways and they pick up most of the cost.
- Should I buy an iPhone 5s for $500 outright, or a Google Nexus 5 for $400 outright? I don't have any discernible preferences for either of the two, but I want to know what the best decision is to make since I'm planning on buying a new phone every few years. I want serious answers, so no fanboy answers please.
- Is unlocking an AT&T IPhone 5 cheaper the buying a factory unlocked iPhone 5? Well first of all I want to know of I went to the apple store and bought an iPhone 5 for At&T then went on to unlock it for my tmobile service would I be saving money NOT buying a regular factory unlocked iPhone 5 or is my plan useless
- Is the iPhone 5s still worth buying or would I wait for the iPhone 6? So I've been iPhone 4 for about a year now and I decided to have an upgrade because it's running so slow on iOS 7:c I'm wondering if the 5s is still new and up to date because the iPhone 6 is coming up and Apple usually buries their older iPhones when two years go by. Like is it worth getting the 5s rather than waiting on the 6 and is it still up to date with technology right now
- Is buying an AT&T iPhone 7 Plus outright in full from local Best Buy mean it will work on T-Mobile too? Looking to find out if buying an att iphone outright from my local Best Buy is going to work on T-Mobile too? I don't believe ATT would lock a phone to their network prior to it even being activated by a customer on their network. But I have T-Mobile and Best Buy doesn't sell T-Mobile phones so trying to make sure this will work.
