Should I buy an iPhone 5s for $500 outright, or a Google Nexus 5 for $400 outright?
I don't have any discernible preferences for either of the two, but I want to know what the best decision is to make since I'm planning on buying a new phone every few years. I want serious answers, so no fanboy answers please.

Personally, I like the iPhone better. It just depends on what you really are looking for. Certain phones are made for certain people and what they do in life. If you're a busy person who needs a lot of organizing then I'd get the Google Nexus 5. But, if you want to keep certain things in certain places but still have fun while using your phone for personal use then I'd choose the iPhone.
I have always liked the simplicity and sophistication of the iPhone. It's completely up to you, though, and which you prefer. I would suggest going to a phone store and trying them out for yourself. I personally would spend the extra 'dough' for the iPhone, but that's just me.
