Buying an iphone 5 unlocked?
I have the samsung skyrocket with att & I plan on buying an unlocked iphone 5 will my sims card from my phone work or what will I have to do?
Well, is the SIM card you have right now a Nano-SIM, a Micro-SIM or a regular sized one? If it is one of the two latter ones, then you have to contact your provider about getting a Nano Sized one, since this is the only kind that will fit into the new iPhone unfortunately.
If the iPhone is unlocked and your SIM card is from a GSM carrier (which most are) then yes it will work without issue
- Will buying an unlocked phone work? I have an iPhone 6 to go along with my AT&T wireless plan. If I go into the Apple store and buy an unlocked sim-free iPhone X, will I be able to simply take the iPhone 6 SIM card out, put it in the X, and be good to go? Will there be any issues transferring service, or will I need to notify AT&T?
