What are the benefits of buying an unlocked iphone direct from Apple?
Apple will sell me an unlocked iphone for £529. What are the benefits in this? I would still have to purchase a contract or Pay as you go (from somewhere).Is it not better to go to the High Street and get one on a contract?
C getting into a contract is like being wid your service provider fr the yrs the contract goes… If you buy an unlocked 1 you can use it wid any service provider anywer in the world… Lso if you r buying an unlocked iPhone you can stop using o sell it wenevrr u wnt… Bt in the case of buying it 4m a carrier… If you wnt to chnge your phne u wil hv 2 pay the ful price of d phne beter knwn as penalty fees…
Apple iPhones will REMAIN unlocked. CPW are unlocked but will LOCK to the first sim card and per CPW BE LOCKED TO THAT NETWORK.
There are more "negatives" to OVERSPENDING either on contract or phone + Sim Only Contract. Everyone recommends the IP5 and NEVER mentions the price.
iPhone prices / tariffs on any all networks defy logic and gravity.

There are much better phones than the IP5, SAMSUNG equivalent came out 18 months BEFORE the IP5.
iPhones play catch up what is on an iPhone came out months before on other makes.Eg the iPhone4 was the FIRST iPhone to have a camera flash.
A total of 9 things are missing as All IPHONES do NOT have BLUETOOTH MEDIA TRANSFER!
The IP5S will cost more than the IP5, imo it won't even come up to the specs of the Dual Core BB Z10, yet the DUAL CORE IP5 has tariff that match the Quad Core S IV
Save yourself the trouble and get a galaxy s3 or s4
It is better to get the phone on contract because you would still need to purchase the sim and pay-as-you-go/contract for that sim but if you get a contract then at the end you get to upgrade that phone to a better one which you don't get if you just buy it directly from apple

I would just suck it up and get a contract because I'm going to be using the phone for at least 2 years anyways and my carrier allows me to roam on any sim so its no big deal. But I listed the reasons why people buy unlocked phones.
