Buying an iphone to use with straighttalk network
So I'm going to buy an iphone 4s and use a straighttalk unlimited plan. I'm not sure if it has to be gmsa or gms. Should it be originally from VeriZON OR ATT? I don't know much about it. Somebody please help before i go spend a bunch of money on a phone I can't use.
If you buy new and set it up at that time, then it will be working when you walk out, so you don't have to be concerned.
As long as the phone is iphone factory unlock, you will be able to use it to different carriers even straight talk.
- Why can't I use an old Verizon iPhone 5s on straighttalk? My phone recently broke so I wanna use my girlfriend s old iPhone 5s but when I check to see if its compatible straight talk says its isn't. I don't understand why?
- Straighttalk iPhone SIM activation for already Straighttalk activated phone? It says I need a $45 service plan card to activate the SIM card, but is there a way to do it without? My phone has $45 service plan active right now, my SIM card is just malfunctioning, so I need a new one. Or do I have to do it when I refill, no other option?
- Possible to flash a sprint iphone 4s to metro pcs or use it on straighttalk? Wondering if there's any way to flash a sprint iphone 4s to metro pcs? I hear they are both cdma networks. Any info if it works with all things like texting, calling, and data? What about using it on straight talk? Can you just buy that mini sim card and pop it in? I've seen the slot on the sprint iphone 4s. Can anyone give me info on both services? Much appreciated.
