Buying off eBay with PayPal?
I'm looking to buy an iPhone 4S off of eBay. I'm just wondering how safe this is. The seller has a 100% feedback rating, but the thing is that he's not offering returns on it. The phone has been listed as excellent condition. For the price I 'bought it now' makes me start to wonder if this whole thing is too good to be true. What else should I do to guarantee that this purchase will be a smart one.
And will I still be protected with PayPal since he's not offering returns.
Lots of people don't offer returns - that's not to say there's anything wrong with the item. Your comeback or safety net is the description.
If it advertised as 'excellent condition', then that is what you expect it to be. Not offering returns means nothing if the item is not as described. You can return or make a claim through ebay if the item is not as described.
Never buy from ebay.

Even though the seller does not offer returns the item is covered by ebay buyer protection. This works when you receive an item that isn't as described in the listing or a buyer does not ship the item in the specified time frame. It covers your purchase price plus shipping.
Please be sure that you understand the description and that you give the seller time to ship the item which will be specified in the listing.
IT IS EXTREMELY SAFE TO BUY OFF OF EBAY USING A PAYPAL ACCOUNT! If you get in anyway ripped off you can call ebay/pay pal and they will ask you barely any questions before they refund you right away.

He wanted to buy an iphone for a little less and offered the seller less to go through paypal to go around ebay and save on fees. The seller said if he would just send an invoice through paypal.
