How to get eBay refund as PayPal guest?

I recently purchased a new iPhone LCD and digitiser from eBay unfortunately when they arrived the digitiser was faulty and after several weeks I have managed to get the seller to offer a refund. However, I paid via PayPal as a guest, how will I go about getting my refund? They have said they will transfer it into my PayPal account so will it go straight to my bank even though I don't have a PayPal account?

I'm confused.

If you don't have a real account with paypal then you need to setup one or ask the seller to do a bank to bank transfer. Where the seller takes you're account detail and he can put the money directly into you're account if it's a shop. If not then I would not do this because you don't know the person who you're giving you're account number too

I would go for the first option setup a real paypal account

So I attempted to buy an iphone 6s plus on eBay and I was trying to pay trough PayPal but for some reason the payment didn't go through so I sent the money directly to the seller through send and request. Before I actually sent it I contacted the seller and she responded every time, she even told she would send me the tracking number but anyways I don't wanna be too long… I'm now realizing it was a scam so how do I get a refund from paypal?

  • Way to stay connected to guest Wi-Fi? So I've been having an issue where my phone won't connect to my routers regular Wi-Fi thing, so i've been connected to the guest that's set up to our router. And it's awfully annoying to have to type the password to the guest Wi-Fi every time I lock and unlock my phone. Is there a setting I can make so I don't have to keep retyping the password? I have an iphone BTW.
  • I got a refund for an item on eBay? And I received the refund on PayPal but I bought it with my debit card and when I checked my chase debit card (on my iPhone app) there's no payment received though it was received back to me according to PayPal. Where was the money refunded to?
