Can a verizon iPhone be used in Ireland?
Verizon iPhones seem to be cheaaper than att and other networks so I was wondering if I bought a verizon iPhone from US eBay could it be unlocked in Ireland? If so would I be able to use my 02 sim card? Or would I be better off paying more getting an at&t one?
You would have to get an AT&T variant because the Verizon variant is CDMA only. O2 is a GSM based company, so you would have to get the AT&T iPhone, which is a GSM variant. Hope this helped.
- Will my verizon iphone 4s work in Ireland? I have a Verizon iPhone 4s, model A1387, which means it's CDMA, not GSM. I got it unlocked by Verizon, because I was hoping that in Ireland I could buy a local SIM card for it. However, now I'm hearing conflicting info that even though it's unlocked, Ireland's SIM cards won't work with it because it's not GSM based, like all of Europe. Please help! Will I be able to get a sim card or not?
- Will any Ireland Mobile Networks support L. T. E (4G) or iPhone 5? The question pretty much says it all. Does anyone know if any Irish networks (I know Vodafone and O2 are not) supporting LTE:4G data? Specifically for the iPhone 5. Leave the fanboy troll comments at the door, a simple yes/no specifics are what I'm after.

- Iphone 4 verizon work in ireland if i unlock it? I bought an iphone 4 on ebay that's locked to Verizon. I didn't know at the time but now I'm wondering will it work on o2 if i unlock it? There's something about Verizon being a CDMA network and o2 being GSM and apparently they don't work together.
