Can AT&T trade a regular SIM card for a micro SIM?
One of my pals decided to buy the new iPhone 5 coming out. I didn't really care until he told me he would sell me his 'old' 4s for only $50. The phone is in near-perfect condition. The only concern I have is about the SIM card.
I have a Samsung Focus windows smartphone with the best data plan available. So could I just go into AT&T with the new Iphone 4s and just ask them for a micro sim in place of my old one? (the iPhone is already with AT&T, so it doesn't need to be unlocked). I've seen videos where you can cut your SIM, but I'm really reluctant to do that. So basically, can they swap out my SIM for a micro? And do I need a data upgrade?
They should GIVE you a sim but if not, the most you will pay is like $5. If you don't already have an iphone, talk to them and ask them if there's a difference in data plans from your Focus to the Iphone. You don't want any surprises at the end of the month.

- My sim card won't work in my iPhone? I cut it to micro sim? I've just cut my sim card into a micro sim, Placed it into my iPhone 4s and it states there no sim card in there, They phone was recently unlocked by Telstra and i know it's unlocked because i got a conformation message on iTunes. I would have thought i cut it too small though that same sim card works in my Samsung Galaxy s2 Perfectly? What's the problem and why isn't it working with my iPhone?
