Will cutting my sim card work to use as micro sim?
I just ordered an iPhone 4 and I need to cut the sim card to make it a Micro sim. Will it affect it. I have seen a bunch of video and already have the template it for it. I'm using simple mobile. Do you know if anything wrong happen to it? Any recommendations, Please!

No it will not work just go on amazon and buy one they are cheap and iphone does not support external memory

I tried this and guess what, Broke it, just order a micro sim with your same number.

Yes it works had done it for a friend.
but to be on the safer side ask your mobile operator to give you a micro sim

Yes it does, i had to do it when i had an unlocked iPhone 4, if you cut it right and measure right ull have an awesome micro sim!

  • Would an different AT&T micro SIM card work on a AT&T locked iPhone 4S? I believe the answer is yes but I want to be sure before I sell my iPhone. I don't want to sell it to someone who believes this to be possible and then learn it's not. I know the phone will not work with any other carrier but AT&T.
  • Will I be able to transfer my contract from a regular Sim card to a Micro Sim card? I want to buy an iPhone 4S on T-mobile, but my current T-mobile sim card is a regular one that would not fit in to the iPhone 4S. Would I be able to somehow move my contract on to the new Micro Sim?

  • Should i risk cutting my mini sim to a micro sim? I have a iPhone 3GS but i recently bought myself an iPhone 4. I found out that i will need a micro sim as opposed to a mini sim, but i was wondering if i should risk cutting it down with a kitchen knife or something. I'm currently with vodafone and have had my sim card for about a year if that affects it? Is it easy to do? What are the risks? Am i likely to mess it up? What are problems faced when doing this? Any extra info would be much appreciated.
