Can bringing my phone into the shower with me damage it?
So I've been bringing my phone into the shower with me for a while now so i can listen to music while i shower. But I heard that the steam from the shower can supposedly damage your phone. Can it? If so, I'll stop but I'm just wondering; I have an IPhone 7 if that helps.
Yes, it can. I use Pandora on my lap top and I don't take hot showers.
I would have sense enough not to take my phone into the shower.
As long as your phone has a case then it'll be fine
The iphone 7 is rated as being waterproof, or splashproof at least.
It's one of the relatively few that should not have been damaged by being in steam / such humid conditions; most other phones are not airtight and could have got condensation in the electronics, causing long term corrosion.
Even in a case I wouldn't do that, you're just asking for trouble.

- I will be bringing a brand new Iphone 8 into the UK when I'm on holiday there, will I have to pay duty for it? I will be visiting the UK for 3 weeks soon and I will be taking the brand new Iphone 8 that I have now with me, will I be charged duty on it? I'm not British.

I'm not British. Do I have to declare it and if I do, why do I have to declare it? The phone is in the box, un opened, it is a present for my girlfriend in Belgium. Which is where I will be going after the UK. The box is still sealed.
