Can cops track textfree on iphone if?
This isn't reguarding me, but basically someone had the textfree app on their Iphone. And got accused of fraud. The person deleted the app, will cops be able to track where the messages came from? Like if the app is deleted, will they be able to tell it came from an iphone? This is kind of important.
Cops are not computer scientists, so no. However, if they seek help from someone, then yes. They'll figure out it was an app, then do their magic, and figure out which device installed it, along with who installed it, where they installed it, the date, and time. So, if it was something major, your friend is screwed. If it was something petty, like scamming someone $100, then you're probably good. Best hope whoever got scammed wasn't a hacker.
