Can he legally keep my money?
I traded a black berry and 45$ for a broken iPhone and the guy said there was something wrong with the battery in the bb so when I when to take it back to get a new battery I gave him the iPhone back and 200$ to get it fixed for me and a week late I want to trade everything back and now he won't give my 200 back or the 45 can he legallly do that can I call the police on him there's no recite or anything
If you have no written proof of those transactions then there's no way to have him arrested for keeping your money. It would just never hold up in court. The judge might believe you, but consider it foolish to trust a stranger with that money… Which it kinda is… Why would you just leave two devices and $245 with someone with no concrete assurance that you would get it back? Now if he was doing real business and gave you receipts or something then that's another story. Just take the receipts and explain the situation to the police, but since you said "there's no recite or anything" then I'm going to say, no. There's nothing you can do about it. In the future, don't just give people phones and money and expect someone to be honest and trustworthy. The world just doesn't work that way. If you're an adult, you should know that. Sorry, but this was your mistake and it looks like you're literally paying for it.
You can sue in small claims court.
