Can i connect to Wi-Fi on my iphone through my computer?
My room is really far from our router/motem and my iphone doesn't pick up the Wi-Fi signal. My laptop however gets a nice signal in my room. Is there a way i can use the signal from my laptop and connect to it on my iphone? Basically, can i turn my computer into a Wi-Fi hotspot for my iphone?
Yes, you can. You just need to set up your Wi-Fi card in your laptop to share (repeat) signal (ad-hoc).In my opinion it's better to buy router, which can work as repeater, so your iphone would work perfectly everywhere in your house.
