Can I connect two separate speaker systems?
Can I connect two separate speaker systems? - 1
Added (1). One speaker system is a home audio system connected to my blu-ray player which has an input aux cord for iPods, and I also have a separate speaker system that I want to link up to the other side of my house. This system also has an aux and rca input system, can I use an cord that links the two aux cords into a single input and then use that from my iphone/laptop? Or is it more complicated. They have their own power systems so its not an electrical issue.
Added (2). Another update to this question, my home audio system is a multiple speaker surround sound setup that is very nice. I have another powered speaker system with 4 speaker units that I have set up with a single auxiliary cord input from my laptop. My question is if it is as easy as getting an auxiliary cord splitter to link the audio between these two systems.
Without knowing the brands and model numbers of the gear you are talking about, one can't give you any specific advise.
If your first system is a cheapie all-in-one home theater system, then no, you can't add ANY gear to it whatsoever.
The kind of gear that can do what you want is a proper home theater audio receiver connected to proper home audio speakers. Then, you can run wires as far as you need, bearing in mind that really long runs require a thicker speaker wire.
Yes you can do this if both systems are fed by a AUX output or headphone output. All you need is a simple headphone splitter cable like this:

This kind of setup is safe and is done all the time. Not to fear.
Yes, but you need the right kind of receiver. There's a function called 2nd Zone. So, basically, anything that is run in analog can be run in the 2nd, 3rd or 4th zones. You can have your family watching a movie in 5.1/7.1 in a separate room and still be listening to FM/Sat Radio/AM/CD/Cable streaming, etc in the other zones without disrupting them.
My favorite is listen to football and baseball games in the other zones. Especially outside with a nice set of Bose outdoor speakers and a quality volume control.
- Two different computers, two different iTunes.can I use the same Apple ID? I have iTunes on my computer that I use for my iPhone, and my mon just got an iPod Touch and wants me to fill it for her. I'm going to use her computer to do this, which currently does not have iTunes. Once I download iTunes, can I use my own Apple ID to download songs and apps onto her iPod? Is it possible to do that without disturbing what's on my phone, or do I have to make a whole new iTunes account for her?
- Mac vs PC operating systems? I don't want to buy an Apple computer for iPhone development if I don't have to, but could I get the Mac operating systems on my computer? Dell XPS L501X Laptop It has Windows 7 on it already. I have researched that only some computers can have both Windows and Mac. I really don't understand operating systems all that much except how to use them for what I do.
- If I have an iphone and ipod, do I have to make two separate itunes accounts? I own the old ipod nano and i have an itunes account with itunes downloaded on my laptop. - How to play two different accounts of clash of clans, on two separate iOS devices? I have been playing Clash on my iPhone 5S for awhile and decided to pair the same account/base to my iPod 5th gen. Although, now I would like to play two different "bases". I tried creating a whole different Game Center/apple account, and deleting/redownloading the game, but no matter what, the game on my iPod, keeps loading up the base from my iPhone. I would like to make a new one on my iPod and keep my iPhone base, is there a way I can do that?
