Can I exchange my iPhone 4 at Sprint?
My mom got me an iPhone 4 two days ago. It was a surprise gift and I'm very grateful, but I had money saved to get the iPhone 5 and that's the phone I Really want. I also like the satifaction of paying for something myself. Anyway, I take EXCELLENT care of my phones and I still haven't taken the film off that comes on the iPhone. However, I cut the pieces that you use to peel off the film enough to fit in my case, but not enough to not be able to take it off. I haven't used the headphones, but I have used the charger. I have Sprint and they have a 14 day return/exchange policy. My question is am I still eligible to exchange it since I've used it already?
Added (1). I'm in a 2 year contract too.
I have sprint, and what you can do since you have the money saved is go to a sprint store and use your iphone 4 as a part of the payment. They will add the cost of the old phone and deduct the amount off the new phone and you pay the remaining balance.
Where did she buy it is the question. If it was at a corporate Sprint Store you can definitely exchange it for the iPhone 5. They will charge you a $35 restocking fee, but you using it will be no problem at all. If the store was not a corporate store, you will just want to call them to see what their return/exchange policy is. It should not be a problem though. Don't worry about the film/used charger, just make sure you have all the stuff when you make the exchange.
- Sprint iphone6. Can I exchange for GB? I just bought a 16GB iphone 6 not realizing that my old phone was actually 32 GB so obviously I can't restore all of that on my new phone. Would I be able to go to sprint and turn in this one for a 32 GB?
- Sprint 14-Day Exchange Policy? I just got an iPhone 5c but I want to exchange it for the 5s. According Sprint's web site, the policy states that I have 14 days to exchange my phone starting the day it was activated. But it doesn't say if I have to also return the container, and headphones, and apple stickers it came with. Does anyone know how this works? Do I have to return everything, like that way I bought it? And let's say, for instance, I lost the case or the headphones, what would happen?
- IPhone 4 - touchscreen stopped. Can I take it to Apple to exchange for a new one? I've had this iPhone 4 for a little over a year now. It hasn't given me trouble until now. The touchscreen has "deadspots" & I can touch on certain places on the screen. The phone DOES NOT have a warranty. Would I be able to go into Apple & exchange for a new one? My contract doesn't renew until November also so getting on at ATT is out of the picture. Any help?
- Can you exchange or return a jailbroken iPhone under warranty? My iPhone has a cracked screen. Could I return or exchange it at the Apple store if it is jailbroken?
