Can I get a virus on my iPhone 6 by visiting a website? - 1
Added (1). I just got a pop-up ad on my iPhone stating that I had several viruses attacking my phone and I should download a specific antivirus software to get rid of it. Strange thing is, I have downloaded several different "anti virus software" programs for my phone. None of them have an option listed to get rid of viruses on my phone.
Is this just a scam to get me to install something? What is going on here?
Added (2). what is the crash website? Is it a virus itself? It wanted me to download something called Onavo protect to get rid of the 4 different viruses that were apparently on my computer it said.
Yes you can
Yes its called the crash website don't press the link tho
I heard that on Androids you can get viruses and, more commonly, phishing and malware and spyware. But I'm not sure that you can get them on Apple devices.
Another sign is that Android has many antivirus/antimalware apps available in their Play Store, while apple has a big 0 in their App Store. My feeling is that Apple keeps an eye actively and "live" for viruses on their devices, somehow, remotely.
Hardly likely
Of course.

- Is it rude to ask for someone's Wi-Fi code when visiting their home? I had a friend come over to work on a project for school and upon entering, she immediately sat down and checked her iPhone and asked me what the password to my Wi-Fi was. I ended up telling her but In my opinion I thought that was really rude and disrespectful as she came to work on a project not sit around and be on her phone the whole time. Everyone's saying its not a big deal but I just want opinions. Would you consider this as rude if someone did this in your home?
- If an iPhone somehow got a virus, what would stop that virus from spreading to the recovery image? If an iPhone got a virus, couldn't it just spread to the recovery image? I don't mean where you connect the iPhone to your computer and restore through iTunes. I mean the restore image that is actually on the iPhone.
