Can I get an iphone aboard and use it in my own country?
I'm travelling to USA. And i might buy an iphone over there because its cheaper. Problem is, i'm not sure whether its still working the same in my country. Well, the sim card and network is not a problem, i will use my own one once i reach my country. But i'm still worrying if there are any difference of what?
Just buy one from home
According to my knowledge there won't be much a problem. You will just have to change the location settings, etc
It shouldn't be an issue as long as you buy the phone outright, obviously you can't buy it on contract price.
- Long distance charges when texting from own country? So I'm in Canada where I'm from and my friend who is also from Canada is in the states right now. We both have iPhones so I know we can use iMessage and not be charged and I know if she texts me she will be charged but if I text her from Canada to the US wil I be charged? Also I'm with Bell.
- If I use my own home Wi-Fi on my iPhone will that use up my data? Ok so I got an iPhone and I only have 300 mb on it. I'm using my own Wi-Fi at home and it says that I already used 3.94 of my data. I thought that if you use your own Wi-Fi, data won't be charged. And I put my cellular data off. So is there a way to use your own Wi-Fi and not get charged?
- I'm on my parents phone plan through sprint and I want to get off it and buy my own. How much does it cost if I get a single line? I want to get off the old iPhone 7 and go to the iPhone 11 but I'm not sure how much it costs to go a single line let alone if they offer Single line unlimited data.
- How to use my iphone for music and Wi-Fi in another country? I'm travelling to Africa soon, and want to be able to use my iphone 4s for music, notes, games, and Wi-Fi so I can upload pictures and such to instagram and everything. I don't want to receive or be able to send any texts or phone calls. I don't want my phone to be roaming either, because that costs alot. How am I able to do this? What are the settings that I set my phone too?
