Can I install iOS 7 beta 4 on my iPhone 5?
I'm currently running on iOS beta 3, and I have the option to update OTA (over the air). I can't find any links to the ipsw, so I was thinking I could just update OTA. I'm very hesitant to do this however, as I have heard that Apple will deactivate your phone until iOS 7 is officially released. Does anyone know if it is safe to update OTA?
IClarified.com says it is fine. I personally would stick with iOS 6.1.4 though. More stable/safe
If you try to install iOS 7 updates without registering your device's UDID on a developer account, your device will get disabled. It's not safe to install the beta at all without registering your UDID on a site like InstantUDID.com. It's $5, and I haven't had any problems with my 4S.
- What will happen if I install iOS 7 beta for iPhone 4s on my iPhone 4? I just got my iOS 7 beta on my iPhone 4, but there are some things that aren't similar to the other beta versions installed on iPhone 4s. So I was wondering if I could install iOS 7 for iPhone and enjoy all the features of it?
