I can't update my iOS 7 Beta 5 to Beta 6?
When i try to update my iphone(4s) through OTA i always get this message "Unable to check for update an error occurred while checking for the update"
Log into your Apple Developer account and make sure everything is correct there.
You might need to manually install the update through iTunes. Also, you won't be able to install updates unless you register your device's UDID with a developer account through a site like http://www.udid.in/.It's $5, and then you don't need to worry about Apple disabling your device for running unreleased software.

I have an iPhone 5, and I download these 2 files: iPhone5, 1_7.0_11A4372q_Restore.ipsw iPhone5, 2_7.0_11A4372q_Restore.ipsw Whenever I hold shift (on a PC) and click check for update, I select either file, and for both I get an error message saying: "The iPhone ___ could not be updated because the firmware file is not compatible my iPhone is 6.1.4, it's restored, my iTunes is up to date. But i'm not developer and i did'nt even registered my udid. so updating via OTA will be risky? will my iphone brick? what to do? will it ask for developer account after update? People who already attempted this please tell me is it safe?
