Can I keep my old number with an Iphone 4s?
I currently have an HTC Thunderbolt through verizon and my mother got me an Iphone for christmas. I was on my fathers network but since she got me the phone she put me on her line. It has a number and is all set up but I want to keep my old number. Is that possible?
If it's on the same phone service (ATT, Verizon, Sprint, etc) then you should be able to keep the number. If it's on a different service you may have to change it. That happened with me - my brother got a new phone (but was really for me) so they had to switch the numbers so the new phone had my number instead of his.

- I had bought an iPhone 5s and there was still the old persons phone number any way I can remove it? I had bought an iPhone 5s off craigslist and it still had a number on it so I couldn't switch it to my number I can't get a hold of the guy I bought it from either. Any help?
- How to transfer my number to my new iPhone from my old one since I didn't get a serial number? I had an iPhone 5 that got damaged so I had to get a new one from the Apple store. I use Straight Talk and it says on their website that I have an incorrect serial number. The Apple store didn't give me one and the serial number that's in my new phone doesn't work. Straight Talk says to use the serial number from the card that is given to you, but I didn't get a card.
