Can I lease a phone at 17 with a co signer?
I want to go to Tmobile & set up a monthly payment plan for an iPhone, can my BOYFRIEND (not parent) co sign for me? (he is over 18) I live 2 states away from family so parent isn't really an option?
You have to be 18 years old to sign contracts. If T-Mobile allows you to sign the contract, they don't care who the co-signer is, as long as he has good credit. Just get a Tracfone prepaid, and save money.
No, he can't co-sign for you. Not even your parents could co-sign for you, because you're under 18. He'd need to put you on his account. Not a good idea, for either of you. Just use a pre-paid phone until you're of legal age.

I really want the new iPhone Xs Max but I can't afford to pay full price, on the sprint website it says an 18 month lease would be 45 a month plus 40 for service so 85 a month.
