Can i put movie from my Iphone onto a DVD?

If i bought a movie on my Iphone, is there any way i could put it onto a DVD so i could play it in my DVD player?
Likewise, is there anyway I could get a DVD onto my iPhone?
I have an iPhone 5 and a Toshiba laptop, if that helps you answer the question at all.

I'm not sure about Toshiba, but I believe you should be able to download iTunes if it's a Windows.

You can download your movie again there, onto your laptop. Once you've bought it, it's yours. So it's not "exclusive" to your iPhone, it's for whatever uses your iTunes account (the iTunes program for example).

Then burning a DVD is a different story, but you could just watch it on your laptop?

For starters, you'll need your iPhone of course, as well as a data transfer USB cable and a working version of iTunes. The first step is to connect your iPhone to your computer using the data transfer/USB cable. Ensure the drivers are all loaded properly. Click on your start button, then click on My Computer. You should see your device showing up as a hard disk drive on your computer. Double click the icon, and you will now be in a root directory full of all the photos and videos you've shot with your phone. Simply drag and drop the videos or photos from the phone and place them wherever you'd like.

Be default, your videos will likely be in MP4 format, which is not the correct format for placing onto a DVD movie. To rectify this, you'll need to convert the video to an MPEG2 video, which you can find out how to do in the next guide, How to convert video files to MPEG2 format. However, many modern software companies will include a built in video to dvd conversion process right into the program. So, likely, all you'll need to do is open your DVD burning software, for example, dvdfab video converter, select the files you'd like to burn onto a DVD, and then just hitting burn and let the conversion happen.
However, if you want to get a DVD onto your iPhone, you may follow this video guide

  • What is the easiest, fastest way to get AVCHD video onto a standard DVD? Hi and thanks for taking the time to answer my question. I'm about to buy a Sony Cybershot digital camera (HX30) that takes video as AVCHD. Can you recommend idiot proof software that can take the videos off of the camera and burn them to a DVD? I don't care if the picture quality will be SD. I just want it on a DVD +/- R. Also if the software can also convert iPhone videos to DVD as well, that would be great.
  • Uploading a DVD onto and iPhone 4S? Okay so I've recently done a skydive and got a video of me doing it. I've just received the DVD of it. Is there a way to upload onto the computer then put it onto my iPhone?
  • How will I play my DVD movies if DVD players become obsolete? Most of my movies are on Amazon or iTunes or some digital format but I have some DVDs that I have not been able to find in digital format--Cats, The Three Lives of Thomasina, Fantasia. I have those on DVD and I have a CD/DVD drive in my laptop computer but my next computer won't have the drive so how would play the movies on my computer. Right now I hook up my laptop to a large screen and watch. What happens in the future?
  • How to save DVD files onto my computer than transfer them onto iTunes? I recently bought Green Day's "Bullet in a Bible" and "Awesome As ***" as well as All Time Low's "Straight to DVD." Since I have the physical copies, I would like to save the DVD files onto my computer so that I could transfer them onto iTunes and eventually sync them onto my iPhone. I just can't figure it out.
