Can I still report this crime and get this person arrested?
In November last year 2013 I picked up a friend at the airport, on the way to her house we got into an argument which resulted in her stabbing me with a set of car keys in my neck leaving lacerations. I took photos of the markings in my iPhone; however, after this friend and I made up she deleted the photographs out of my phone without consent. The day of the incident she begged me not to go to the police and I did not. Couple weeks ago this individual and I got into another altercation which resulted in her physically abusing me. I called the cops this time and she was arrested and charged with battery. Next day after she posted bail she applied for a warrant application for my arrest which was dismissed. This person again applied for another warrant application which was dismissed again, now I'm receiving a third notice of a warrant application this same individual applied for. Seems to me that she must be stopped because she will just keep coming at me to get me arrested for something that's not even true, all because she got arrested. I normally do not believe in repaying evil with evil but I feel like she will not stop unless I fight back. What are my rights? My choices? What would you do?
Since you no longer have proof of the alleged stabbing there's no point in mentioning it.
What would I do? Stop hanging out with McStabby.
You still should be within the staute of limitations. You can take to the police and if their is enough evidence she can be arrested. The police will take a statement anyway and even if their isn't enough for an arrest atleast you would have started a paper trail.
- Is this a crime (against the law)? So basically i bought an iphone 5 off my 'friend' for £350, she said the phone was unlocked, when actually it was locked to 02. I need the phone to be on orange as i have a sim on contract for 2 years. She basically sold me phone with false essential information. - what do i do? NOWHERE unlocks iphone 5's. One person said he would do it. For £130!
- Is it a crime to play explicit music in public? So I was playing basketball at my neighborhood park with one of my friends and I was playing my music off of my iPhone. It wasn't really that loud but there were some explicit lyrics. So this guy walks out of his house and tells us to turn off the music because the lyrics were bad for his kids who we're playing in their front yard. He said he would call the cops if we didn't. Can he call the cops on us for that? It wasn't super loud.
- If I buy an iPhone from someone's else, can they still report it stolen after I've already activated it? For example: if I buy a phone from a girl on Facebook, then go to T-Mobile and it's clean, not iCloud locked, not stolen, ready to be activated. Then I activate it. Can that person then report it? Even after it's already set up with T-Mobile as active
- I think somebody is trying to scam me through paypal - how do I report this person? I'm selling my iPhone and put an advert online, and somebody responded to me by email that they wanted to buy it basically, and they want it sent to Nigeria and I gave him my paypal address to send payment too and I have received an email that looks like it is from paypal, it basically says the payment is pending and I should send out the goods. I think this is a scam. What do I do - how do I report this person?
