Can I swap SIM cards with verizon wireless phones?
I have a Droid Bionic and I want to buy a iphone 4 on ebay or amazon and switch the sim cards. I don't want to wait until the contract is up to upgrade.
Verizon wireless doesn't use sim cards
Make sure to get the iPhone for your carrier. Or get an unlocked one. Which costs more. If you get one for another carrier you'll have to get it unlocked before using the sim for your current carrier
The iphone 4 on verizon doesn't take a sim card. What you would do is get the iphone 4 and call verizon and give them the MEID of the iphone. They would then activate it and you would have to dial *228 on the iphone.
The previous poster doesn't know what he's talking about. Verizon wireless does use sim cards, but only in the 4g phones. The iphone 4 isn't 4g, that's why you would have to activate it by giving verizon the MEID number.
Don't listen to tahmid either. An unlocked one will not work with verizon. It has to be the CDMA iphone 4 made for Verizon Wireless. It uses cdma technology which means it doesn't use a sim card.
- Will tmobile swap my micro sim to the nano sim for iPhone 5? Basically I have an iPhone 4 under contract until October 2013, but if I buy an iPhone 5 on pay as you go, will t mobile swap my micro sim to a nano sim whilst I'm under contract?
- Verizon Wireless vs Cricket Wireless? On Friday I'm going to get the iPhone 5 and I have an option between those two carriers. So which is better. Please give information about both.
- IPhones, SIM cards, microSIM, contract, and go phones? Okay, this might get confusing so stay with me lol. I have a prepaid android (at&t) and got a new android. We're giving the old android the my brother in law (he has a contract through at&t). He is giving me his iPhone 4s. I got a new regular AND microsim and need to know how to activate them both without locking them to the phone. Any ideas? Please help! How do I activate them? Online or do I just call?
- How do me and my friend swap phones? I have the iphone 7 plus and he has the 7. And we both have sprint so we thought we would be able to keep our contracts but just switch the phones but when we do it gets sim card locked. Do we need to completely reset the phones before trying to put a new sim in it?
