Can I switch my boost mobile number to sprint?
For sprint right now it's $100 off an iPhone if you switch your number to them will I be able to do it since I have boost? And also my bill was due yesterday but I didn't pay it can i still switch with it like that?
You are correct you can switch your phone number from Boost Mobile to Sprint. However there are certain thing you need to be aware of. Switching phone number to another carrier is called porting your phone number.
First. Your phone service with Boost Mobile must be active. If you didn't pay your bill and your phone service is always deactivated then you can't switch or move your phone number to another carrier. The line has to be active. So you would need to still make a payment to make your line active If it is already disconnected.
Once your line with Boost Mobile is still active, call Sprint Customer Care or talk to the salesperson at the Sprint store that you would like to port (move) your phone number from Boost Mobile to theirs. They will ask for your account number from Boost Mobile and any passwords.
It takes about a day before the transfer is complete. Sprint will automatically transfer your phone number from Boost to theirs and Sprint will close your account with Boost Mobile. Sprint will handle all the arrangements not Boost Mobile.
