Can i take a data plan off an iphone?
Okay, so i'm with att, and i currently don't have a smartphone, or a data plan. My boyfriends mom just got a new phone, and she is giving me her old iphone 4s. She said that the data plan is still on it, but my uncle doesn't want to pay for it (i would if i could find a stupid job), and i don't want one because i always go over, and it is just annoying, and i don't need one.
I was wondering if i can take off the data plan from the phone? I've heard you can, and i've also heard that you can't. So please, if anyone knows, i would really appreciate it!
You can't use a smart phone on AT&T without a data plan. Your boyfriend's Mom's data plan stays with her regardless of the phone she uses. However, if you take that phone, you will be forced to get a data plan.
- Will I get charged for using Wi-Fi when my Sprint data plan is shut off? If I turn off the data plan for my iPhone 5 (with the intention if turning it back on), will I get charged for using the Internet using Wi-Fi?

- IPhone turns off as soon as i take it off the charger? I have an iPhone 4 with iOs 6 and today it just turned off randomly and wouuld not turn back on. So i put it on the charger, and it turned on. But as soon as i took it off, it died again. It as at 65 percent and is not going up or don. I can't upgrade to iOs 7 because i don't have enough storage and i don't want to restart my phone. What do i do?!
